Consistency beats perfection

On Google as on Instagram, it's not the most beautiful post that wins. It's the one that posts consistently. Here is why, and how to keep up the pace without thinking about it.

You have probably already spent an hour on a photo of your dish of the day. Cropped, edited, posted on Tuesday evening… then nothing for three weeks. We know the feeling: between service, suppliers, and bookkeeping, the phone stays in your pocket.

The problem isn’t the quality of your posts. It’s the silence in between.

Why consistency matters more than anything else

Google and Instagram push active businesses forward. Not the ones with the most followers, nor the most polished ones: those that post often and regularly. An account that goes quiet for three weeks sends the wrong signal — to the algorithms, but above all to your future customers.

And meanwhile, the restaurant next door posts three times a week. Guess who shows up first when someone searches “where to eat tonight”.

Three average posts are better than one perfect post

An imperfect post that is published is better than a perfect post that never goes live.

Consistency builds familiarity. Your regulars see you, your new customers find you, and your business exists online even during the weeks when you don’t have a single minute to spare.

How to keep up the pace without thinking about it

  • Drop your media off once. Your photos, your videos, in bulk, whenever you have them.
  • Choose your days. Two or three slots a week are enough.
  • Let it run. This is exactly what MyClerk does for you: it posts at the right time, in your tone.

You cook. MyClerk posts. That’s it.

Your online presence, handled.
